This section lists a wide range of healthcare applications and
areas of health buildings, related to NHS guidance (generally
HBNs). The most important performance criteria for doorsets - on
which more information can be found in the previous section - are
identified for each situation.
In some cases, HBN guidelines are very specific and need
little clarification but, where this is not the case, LS Group
has the technical expertise and experience to interpret the
guidelines and suggest possible doorset solutions.
For each different area or application a brief overview is
provided, generally followed by a short-list of the most
relevant performance criteria and other important issues. We
have included a number of typical examples of NBS specifications
to help architects and specifiers to make sense of the
guidelines in relation to doorsets. LS Group is happy to help
